When I first play Yugioh Duel Links, I really feel stomped upon multiple times by the Players who use Pendulum Summons, Xyz and Synchro Summons. Like literally, I never ever win even once because I only stick with the old rules and cards. Because those are the cards that are available to me. The new cards I earned whenever I get rewards made me decide to try the new rules. I study the new rules, since then, I love the Pendulum summons. I just don't feel really happy and proud when winning using the new methods since it just feels too overpowered to summon as many monsters as you can as long as the card(s) are within the pendulum swing. Unlike the old school rules where you really have to strategize. There's also a skill that can be set for Yugi or Kaiba that removes the summoning rule for Dark Magician and Blue Eyes White Dragon. Though I use them often, it also feels so overpowered and I'm honestly not liking it but still uses them since they come with a condition as well.

Doug completely glossed over the Dark Nephthys. Not only is it an 8, but it's removal and pairs well with the Ogdo stuff.

Jirai Gumo was an absolute monster in early YGO. The wrong coin flip simply didnt matter if you got tempo back in the day, and could easily be sac'd off for Summoned Skull. Had a kid at my LGS run a play set and everyone VERY QUICKLY ( next week ) were running sets. Matches became who got JG out first and established their board quicker.

Asking people to spend a few HOURS learning how to read the CARDS IN THE GAME is sort of inexcusable for a card game (not an inexcusable ask from you, the messenger lol). Other card games have particularities in their wording or strange rules interactions but they try their best to make the cardboard as clean and concise as possible, whereas Yugioh just throws its hands up and makes it the player's problem. Problem-solving card text is much better than how things used to be but I can't imagine that it's the best the best way to convey a card's rules text

Why play the Egyptian Gods when you could play the Sacred Beasts? They might not be meta but they’re just better.

My cousin tried to teach me the game. But my stupid 7YO brain couldn't understand the game even in it's older simpler state. So I just acted like the monsters instead.

On Master Duel, I've started toying with a deck using Mirror Force, Manticore of Smashing, and Dark Hole Dragon. I like using Mirror Force Launcher, Snipe Hunter, and Raigeki Break to pitch Manticore of Smashing. It feels really good to Mirror Force your opponent and drop Dark Hole Dragon after that.

Farfa actually could have made full armor master against Doug. That vayu could have made the gram and then he could have used it with the 1 and 4 to make the master. Missed wins this season: 1

I still have all the these decks & sometimes I use them against my opponent for a fun match. Keep in mind that my opponent would also be using one of these decks this way it makes things more fair & fun.

God bless the Yugioh TCG games on GBA. They taught me A LOT of nuanced effects/rulings.

6:10 it STILL isn't huh? that tells me that the shuffler memes are likely right, master duel probably doesn't have your deck loaded on game start and its coded to just add a random card from deck zone to hand zone. adding convulsion of nature to THAT spaghettis mess would likely require them to build a new game depending how many systems depend on that 'deck' function. its not like they forgot about it, that card HAS been played competitively.

I use Quaking Mirror Force in my Ancient Gear deck along with Magic Cylinder and they have been very helpful to me

I'm currently trying Blazing Mirror Force in my Red-Eyes burner deck.

i will never forget when my opponent activated mirror force in duel links to destroy my 4 powerful monsters then i survived another turn and built my board again, and to my surprise he activated drowning mirror force, i will always hate this card and it's variants and i hope konami ban it forever

I use almost all of the mirror forces in my alien deck the only one I don't have at the moment is dark mirror force.

This was a great start to the new season of Master Saga. Also it was fun to see Blackwing and Dragunity get used because they are two of my favourite archetypes, with Dragunity being the archetype that got me back into YuGiOh…thank you Gage and Farfa. Hope to see you two bring out the full potential of these two archetypes. Let’s Go Dragunity and Blackwing. It was also great to see my boys Zeus and Accesscode get freed to rain hell down on the battlefield. Great job Doug, Gage and Nadir and I’m looking forward to see how the rest of this season goes,
